About Me

My name is Yang! Some people call me Gilbert or Gilgamesh too. Thanks for visiting my website, where you can find links to interesting projects and my social media accounts as well. I'm currently a rising sophomore studying at MIT. In the past, I was primarily known for competing in various math and programming competitions. Currently (summer 2018), I am working on a (purposefully undisclosed) startup, self-studying/competing in some machine learning things, and training for a marathon (among other things, possibly related to a girl). Let me know if you want to talk about anime or programming or theatre or girls or anything else!

Also, this picture is too old. I'm working (05/29) hard on setting up @emilia-tan.com emails, which were active at one point in time before being subjected to spam. Well, be hopeful that many updates are coming to the website UI. I have some ideas in mind.

A cool thing: This website was updated with EmiliaUpdate, my custom deployment script for standard pipelines/workflows. I recently just finished it today (05/29). Please check out the Github for more!

Another cool thing: I've identified currently (05/29) two exploitable security flaws on this website (save for the lack of HTTPS), one of which is easier to use than the other. With one (the less subtle one), you'll be able to send emails masquerading as me from gilgamesh@tfwno.gf. If you do it right, you might be able to even to steal my passwords, though I can't guarantee this is entirely doable. With the other, more subtle one, you will be able to alter the contents of this website as you wish. Though, I suppose if you had my password, you could do the same.

I'd be very impressed if anyone exploited these flaws. If you do and let me know, I'll award you most generously in honor and fame, to the limit of my ability. Signed, Yang Yan, 05/29.
